Neil Hopkins, Executive director of the Maple Group recently gave the keynote address to the annual conference of outreach staff in Oxford University's Cifford Barclay lecture theatre.
Mr Hopkins briefed the audience on the problems facing sixth form colleges and the effects of A level reform, and gave his views on how Oxford might modify its admissions procedures to help applicants from large state colleges.
