Cirencester College joins Maple Group

The Maple Group is delighted to welcome a new member college. Cirencester College, led by Kim Clifford, who joined in January 2016 bringing the total membership to 12 colleges.

In line with the other Maple Group colleges, Cirencester is rated ‘Outstanding’ by OFSTED and shares a commitment to the provision of the highest quality post-16 education. Cirencester is a Beacon College and can demonstrate a brilliant, long track record of exceptional student achievement.  

Simon Jarvis, Chair of the Maple Group said: 'It's heartening that another college of this calibre has chosen to join Maple Group. Cirencester College will be an asset to the group, strengthening our partnership, bringing fresh insight and ideas about how we maintain and develop the quality of provision in our colleges. We are all genuinely thrilled at the prospect of working closely with Kim and her colleagues over the coming years.'

The Maple Group has, since its inception in January 2013, provided a valuable forum where the member colleges can share good practice and discuss and influence solutions to the issues facing the sector.
